Low level risks – High level Doubts

Just wanted to address the nuclear disaster in Japan…shed some light on all the questions we have all been asking. There are an awful lot of experts claiming this and that, about what is safe, about the true nature of the disaster, about modern life in general.

First off – mercy and guidance to the people of Japan - and a special honor to the “nuclear samurai” who are sacrificing their lives working at the nuclear plants, to try and prevent a further catastrophe. Second – call to all humanity that we all understand what is happening here , educate ourselves to the truth and start being the change that we need to move forward.

If reading the writing on the wall means understanding the hieroglyphical metaphor of the Egyptian riots, then finally some people have opened their eyes. The markets today are a sure sign that some people are recognizing the reality of our situation. The mega-rich have started to read the graffiti on their walls, and are getting scared.

Re-stating of the Union

I really just wish everyone who is busy ranting and raving about what party is responsible for what part of the economic crisis, and all the he said she said BS, would just stop and see the truth. This latest Financial Crisis Commission report has done absolutely nothing in terms of dealing accountability to anyone. Squabbling about whether or not democrats or republicans acted negligently or even criminally is besides the point. This report revealed ZERO new information about the entire crisis, everything it claims to present as informative, has been completely revealed and discussed over and over again. The commission is really a pathetic attempt on behalf of the government to look like it’s actually doing some investigating (too little too late).  This whole fiasco WILL happen again, it is inevitable and to some degree orchestrated. If we want to protect ourselves or at least soften the blow, then we must as a people first understand our “enemy” and stop relying on what amount to “political” solutions. The fact is, there is a war being waged right here in America. It’s called the haves vs. havenots. Yes. It’s very true – the richest few Americans are doing everything in their absurd amount of power to stifle the hopes and dreams of the rest of us. subconsciously or not, criminally minded or not, philosophically or not, accidentally or not, ignorantly or not, under the ’word of god’ or not! – The battle intensifies as I write.

In honor of the KING

Here are some wisdoms from MLK. If there was ever a man whose life deserves to be remembered and whose ideas to be reflected upon every day – MLK is him. Everything he speaks to here, is as relevant today as it was 50 years ago. The universal truths he illuminates should resound the world over, today and onward, in everyone’s mind and spirit. Please read them all and take a moment to let them sink in. This beautiful man was assassinated because ignorant people were afraid of his shining truth spreading to the rest of the world. We must not allow his murder to become an accepted form of extinguishing the spirit of the truth. Respect his life by living in his words, and continuing to spread the truth, peace, and love of his example. Realize the immortality of the KING.

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.

Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.

The question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be… The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.

The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

Philanthropy is commendable, but it must not cause the philanthropist to overlook the circumstances of economic injustice which make philanthropy necessary.
